URLs your students can reach from inside the kiosk app. Students can press Alt-Left and Alt-Right to go back and forward within the window. This is an experiment, not a finished feature.

The Excel file is a simple gradebook, one row per submission. The JSON is a full backup of classes, assessments, and every submission.
To permanently erase a class and all of its student data, open that class from the Dashboard and select Delete from its Settings. It removes the roster, that period's assessments, and every submission and grade.
To permanently delete this account and all of its data, send a deletion request. The TypeWriter team will confirm by email before anything is removed.

Times are minutes:seconds from the start of the test. Leaving the test counts toward a lockout; blocked actions are recorded only.

Your district runs TypeWriter as a kiosk app on managed Chromebooks. The device runs the assessment and nothing else: no other tabs, no other apps, just the test.
The switch controls this assessment only. On means students must open it within the kiosk app. Off means they can open it in a browser by going to typewriter.education/student.
How to open TypeWriter on Kiosk. On the Chromebook sign-in screen, before signing in to their own account, they choose Apps in the bottom corner and pick TypeWriter. Then they sign in with their class code as usual.
Shorter is stricter. 15 seconds allows for a Chromebook hiccup.
If your district uses GoGuardian or similar, whitelist typewriter.education in a scene you use during tests.
On district-managed Chromebooks, TypeWriter can run as a kiosk app that locks the whole device to the test. It is switched on by district IT rather than per assessment. How test security works explains it, and your IT department can ask us about it.
